This discussion has been organized in light of the “earnings surprise” in the semiconductor and AI industries, as well as the recent debate over performance-based bonuses at Samsung Electronics and SK hynix, to explore a “new normal” for determining to whom record-high corporate profits should be distributed, according to what standards, and where they should be reinvested.
At today’s event, we aim to examine the principles of allocating performance among shareholders, workers, and creditors from the perspective of corporate law, and to discuss, based on objective evidence, practical solutions for channeling boom-time profits into rational investment, fostering the semiconductor and AI ecosystem, and cultivating talent.
We welcome your interest and attendance.
