This seminar has been organized to examine the reality that young people’s paths into the labor market are becoming increasingly diversified into employment, job-seeking activities, and non-economic activity, and to explore policy directions for supporting their smooth entry into and transition within the labor market. It aims to analyze the characteristics of different types of non-economic activity among youth and the difficulties they face in the process of labor market transition, and to discuss effective response measures such as linking education with employment, supporting job searches, providing job information, and promoting reentry into the labor market. Through this, we seek to move beyond one-size-fits-all support, develop policies tailored to each young person’s circumstances and stage of transition, and find ways to help youth settle stably into the labor market.
