Center for Free Enterprise (CFE) Shared Office Support Program Guide

The Center for Free Enterprise (CFE) provides researchers with research space and opportunities for academic exchange in order to expand academic research and knowledge creation. This shared office support program is intended to provide individual research space for researchers who hold or are expected to obtain a doctoral degree in Korea or abroad, and to support academic activities such as paper writing. We ask for your interest and participation.

1. Eligibility:

University professors and researchers in Korea and abroad in related fields such as law, public administration, public policy, economics, and business administration

(holders of a doctoral degree or expected degree recipients)

2. Support Services and Areas of Collaboration

- Provision of individual research space in a shared office and facility support (desk, chair, internet, etc.)

- Access to the Liberty Lounge (amenity space), including refreshments and snacks

- Joint organization of various seminars and academic activities such as paper writing

※ Appointment as a Center for Free Enterprise (CFE) Visiting Research Fellow and issuance of a certificate of employment

3. Shared Office Options

- Long-term Track 1 (up to 1 year): Example: professors and researchers on sabbatical

- Long-term Track 2 (up to 1 year): Example: non-full-time researchers who need a regular research space

- Short-term Track (up to 3 months): Example: researchers who need research space for a certain period

4. How to Apply:

Submit via Google Form (click here)

- Application period: Monday, September 15, 2025 – Monday, October 6, 2025

- Selection and space assignment: after Monday, October 13

- Required documents: one copy each of academic background and certificate of employment/career certificate

(attach as PDF files within the Google Form)

5. Other Information

- Please submit all required documents in PDF format.

- For the shared office application process, the personal information of selected applicants will be collected and retained.
