The Center for Free Enterprise (CFE) is holding the 33rd Market Economy Essay Contest. Anyone interested in the market economy is welcome to participate freely. We look forward to hearing your stories!
□ Eligibility: Anyone interested in the market economy
□ Submission Period: April 21, 2025 (Mon) to April 30, 2025 (Wed), deadline at 17:00
□ Topic:
- Any topic related to the market economy: Describe various episodes easily encountered in everyday life through the principles of the market economy

□ Submission Guidelines: 10 sheets of 200-character manuscript paper (about one and a half A4 pages, approximately 2,000 characters including spaces)

- Entries not prepared in accordance with the submission format and method may be disadvantaged in judging.

□ Awards Ceremony: Friday, May 23, 2025, at 3:00 PM

※ All winners will also receive books from the Center for Free Enterprise (CFE) as supplementary prizes.
□ Other Information
1. User traffic increases from the day before the deadline. Please register at least one hour before the deadline.
2. Entries must be submitted in accordance with the application format.
3. In the case of duplicate submissions, the most recently submitted Op-Ed will be accepted as the official entry.
4. Submitted entries cannot be edited or deleted after registration.
5. Copyright for all submitted works belongs to the Center for Free Enterprise (CFE).
6. If a submitted work plagiarizes a previous winning entry or plagiarizes/misappropriates another person’s work, the award may be revoked even after selection, and all legal responsibility lies with the entrant.
7. Personal information of applicants will be collected and stored for the purposes of the awards ceremony, prize conferral, prize delivery, and newsletter distribution.
8. Winners will be asked to provide personal information (such as their resident registration number) for tax reporting purposes, and prize money will be paid after withholding tax.
