The Center for Free Enterprise (CFE) is holding the 31st Market Economy Essay Contest. Anyone interested in the market economy is welcome to participate. We look forward to hearing your stories!
□ Eligibility: Anyone who supports the market economy
□ Submission Period: Friday, April 19, 2024 – Monday, April 29, 2024, deadline at 17:00
□ Topic:
- Any topic related to the market economy: Describe various everyday episodes that can be easily encountered in daily life through the principles of the market economy.

□ Submission Guidelines: 10 pages of 200-character manuscript paper (approximately 1.5 A4 pages, around 2,000 characters)

- Grand Prize: 0 winner(s) (certificate and KRW 300,000)
- Excellence Prize: 00 winner(s) (certificate and KRW 150,000)
- Merit Prize: 00 winner(s) (certificate and KRW 50,000)
※ All winners will also receive books published by the Center for Free Enterprise (CFE) as supplementary prizes.
□ Other Information
1. Website traffic increases from the day before the deadline. Please register at least one hour before the deadline.
2. Entries must be submitted in accordance with the application format.
3. In the case of duplicate submissions, the most recently submitted Op-Ed will be considered.
4. Submitted entries cannot be edited or deleted once registered.
5. Copyright for all submitted works belongs to the Center for Free Enterprise (CFE).
6. If an entry is found to plagiarize a previous award-winning work or another person’s work, the award may be revoked even after selection, and all legal responsibility rests with the entrant.
7. Personal information of applicants will be collected and retained for awarding, prize delivery, and newsletter distribution.
8. Winners will be asked to provide personal information (such as their resident registration number) for tax reporting purposes, and prize money will be paid after withholding tax.
