A seminar was held on the theme of “Recent Labor Trends and Issues in Japan and Employment Challenges for Older Workers.” This seminar was organized against the backdrop of recent developments in Japan’s labor policy, including the minimum wage, pension system, and labor market issues, as well as the growing importance of the instability of pension life for older people and the resulting need to extend employment.
