Visit to Korea Midland Power’s Seoul Power Headquarters

jo_imgDuring this tour, participants viewed the Han River and the downtown skyline from the 10th-floor observatory while receiving an explanation of the power plant’s location and role. They then visited the central control room to see firsthand how electricity is generated and supplied. They also toured the underground power plant and the exhibition hall, where they were briefed on the operation of power facilities, the latest energy technologies, and public outreach activities.


Participants had a meaningful opportunity to experience the on-site operation of Korea’s electric power industry, sharing views on the importance of a stable energy supply and the policy challenges ahead.
